World Federation of Youth Literary Arts will hold the 2011 Global Youth Art Competition on January 23, 2011 in Temple City, California. The mission of this competition is to establish cultural exchanges among different countries and to showcase the creative talent of youth around the world.
Eligibility
Anyone 22 years old or under.
Registration
Participants can register with a school, through a teacher, or individually online at http://www.wfylahq.org. Registration is free.
Important Dates
The deadline for registration is June 30, 2015. This on-site competition will be held on July 23, 2015 at 12:30 pm.
Age Groups
There are four age groups:
1) Ages 10 and under
2) Ages 11 to 16 years old
Ages 17 to 22 years old All age calculations will be based on the cut-off date January 23. For example: if you were born on January 25, 1998, then you would be 13 years old, but if you were born on January 22, 1998, you would be 12 years old.

2) Theme for final competition will be announced on-site.
3) Contestants have to provide their own materials. Judges (Listed in no particular order)
Awards
1. Gold Award: $500 (one for each age group)
2. Silver Award: $300 (one for each age group)
3. Bronze Award: $100 (two for each age group)
4. Honorable Mention Award:
certificates and gifts (50 for each age group) All contestants will receive Spirit Awards for their participation.
