WORLD FEDERATION OF YOUTH LITERARY ART
Acronym: WFYLA
INTRODUCTION
The peace and progress of mankind originated from the thoughts of human being; therefore it is essential to establish the bridge of mutual understanding, mutual respect, and mutual interchange among the youth of mankind.
OBJECTIVES AND FUNCTIONS
The rules of organization for the WFYLA were established in the meeting held in Los Angeles on January 1, 2010, and were effective on September 1, 2010.
The objectives are to enhance the world peace and human progress through interchange and learning in areas of literacy, arts, and education, among the youth in various races, sexes, languages and religions; based on the general acceptance and respect for the basic human rights and freedom, to cultivate the noble ideal and values, and to improve the understanding, tolerance, and harmonious coexistence.
In order to reach these objectives, the five major functions of the organization are:
To establish standards: To draft and pass the file and suggestions for the international type organization.
To organize and create: A worldwide organization of youth in the field of literary art.
To disseminate and interchange: To mainly make international exchange of literature, arts and education.
Strategic research: To study and analyze the current status of youth in various areas of the world, and to develop various strategies and plans.
Assisting development: To provide conditions and opportunities in the form of assistance for worldwide youth in study and development.
ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION
WFYLA is comprised by the following 4 parts:
Board of Directors: Comprised by the representatives of all members of various countries, is the unit within the organization with the highest authority; it convenes once every two years, in charge of establishing the duties and plans for the organization, voted to pass based on one vote per country.
Foundation: Comprised by the representatives of all member countries, is the unit of the organization with highest authority in fundraising and financial budgeting aspects.
Standing Committee: Comprised by the representatives of all member countries, is a unit in charge of daily organizational administrative matters, responsible for the establishing of the work plans, and for supervising the implementation of various plans.
Executive Committee: The executive unit of the organization, all working staff to carry out the various plans made by the Standing Committee under the directions of Director-General.
The Director-General of the Executive Committee is elected and appointment by the Standing Committee, the term of office is 5 years.
The Executive Committee is comprised by professional staff and general staff; most of them are holding office and working at various branches of WFYLA.
Each of the member country is to establish national committee, comprised by the representatives of literature, arts, and education fields.
To maintain formal relationship with United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization, to cooperate non-periodically with similar organizations and youth organizations of various countries.
To assist the youth of various countries to establish harmonious, understanding, and tolerant philosophy, and to enhance the exchange internationally.
To promote the ideal and actions of WFYLA.
REGARDING THE NAMING RIGHTS PROGRAM OF [THE WORLD FIRST GRAND CONTEST OF THE WORKS OF THE 100 YOUNG ARTISTS]
In order to enhance the heritage of Chinese culture, to improve the worldwide friendship, and to elevate the cultural interaction and the level of creative capabilities of the youth worldwide, the World First Grand Contest of the Works of the 100 Young Artists to be hosted by WFYLA is in the preparation stage.
Subject: “I have a dream”
The list of winners of the Grand Contest will be announced and published in the World Journal.
There will be over 30 media agencies worldwide to report this event, which will bring immeasurable publicity benefits for your business.
This event is a large-scale public welfare; it will have strong support from the government, media, and social organizations worldwide, and will enhance the interchange among the youth worldwide, the selection of literary elite, and the integration of cultures of the world.
WFYLA is a non-government and non-profit seeking international confederation. It stands in the world, to form an artistic life stage for the youth of the world, to enable the youth worldwide to form friendship hand-in-hand. It unites all the associations and organizations in cooperation to enhance the interaction among the youth worldwide. WFYLA was registered in Los Angeles of the United States, with its Secretariat also in Los Angeles, United States.
The first activity of WFYLA is under preparation; the development of WFYLA will be announced and publicized in the World Journal. The activities centers will be established respectively at: China: established in Shanghai, Wenzhou, Beijing, and Liaoning; United States: New York, Houston, Washington D. C., Chicago, and Los Angeles; Canada, Italy, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, etc. These activities will be participated by the youth from all over the world; the objective of the interchange is to enhance the overall development of the youth.
WFYLA actively encourages local or domestic meetings and social activities; through meetings, WFYLA helps create opportunities to enable youth to interchange and to cooperate among the countries. The objectives of WFYLA are to establish “Peace, Friendship, Progress, and Health.” Based on which, through a series of activities of culture, arts, folk customs, athlete, and environmental protection, to enable youth of all countries to overcome the language barrier, to establish the bridge of friendship, and to establish a harmonious world by hand-in-hand interchange of the youth worldwide.
WFYLA will protect the legal rights, according to the laws, of the group members and the young literary artists. WFYLA extensively promote the interchange of literary art with outside parties, and actively organize and promote the interchange literary art activities among the group members. It organizes the young literary artists to visit overseas, to interchange with foreign youth literary artists in lively and diverse ways, to enhance the friendship and cooperation with foreign young literary artists. Through this event, WFYLA will broaden the scope of worldwide youth interchange and elite selection, and the integration of world cultures. We sincerely hope the business owners and those who care about the growth of the next generation to participate the event enthusiastically.
